Sales tax will be charged to all orders that are processed with a California, Nebraska, or Ohio shipping address, regardless of the location from which the product ships. Remote sellers such as Internet retailers are required to collect taxes in states where the company has a physical presence. Hayneedle has facilities in California, Nebraska, and Ohio; therefore, taxes are applied to orders that are shipped to those states.
Note that many factors can change between the time you place an order and the time of the credit card charge, which could affect the calculation of sales taxes. The amount appearing on your order as estimated tax may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged.
Although Hayneedle charges sales tax on sales orders shipped only to the states mentioned above, please note that your state of residence may require you to pay sales or use tax and file a sales and use tax return for certain purchases made from Hayneedle. Please consult your city, county, and state tax regulations to determine your applicable sales or use tax.

UPS OR FEDEX SHIPMENTS
Many of our products are delivered via UPS or FedEx and may not require a signature upon delivery (the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person). Tracking of shipments by UPS or FedEx can be done through the respective carrier websites. In the event you have not received a tracking number via email, you may track your order by visiting the order status section located at the bottom of Hayneedle. If you are still unable to track your order, please email Hayneedle Customer Care for further assistance with tracking.
TO-THE-DOOR FREIGHT DELIVERY
We provide To-the-Door Delivery by contracted freight carriers, which is the standard shipping method for items that are too large or heavy for shipment with normal package carriers. Deliveries are made via truck Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will require someone to be present during the delivery. The carrier will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment, generally within a 4-hour window. To-the-Door Deliveries are made outside the main home entrance (e.g. inside a garage or to a front porch). Transporting the item into the home or other area and disposing of packaging material is the customers responsibility. Upon delivery and before you sign the carriers delivery receipt, it is important to inspect your package to check that all items are accounted for. If anything is missing or damaged, please note it in detail on the delivery receipt and email Hayneedle Customer Care. If an item is missing or damaged, we will ship a replacement part when possible or may arrange for a complete replacement. Please refuse delivery if the entire package is damaged.
WHITE GLOVE FREIGHT DELIVERY
We're happy to provide White Glove Freight Delivery, which is a premium service that includes special handling and in home placement. In home deliveries are made via truck Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will require someone to be present during delivery. The delivery agent will call in advance to schedule an appointment, generally within a 4-hour window. The delivery agent will place and unpack your product in the room of your choice, (additional handling charges will be required if the item must be carried more than two normal flights of stairs. This means up to 15 steps each). The agent will remove all packaging materials upon completion. Assembly and movement of existing furniture are not included with this service. Upon delivery and before you sign the carriers delivery receipt, it is important to inspect your package to check that all items are accounted for. If anything is missing or damaged, please note it in detail on the delivery receipt and email Hayneedle Customer Care. If an item is missing or damaged, we will ship a replacement part when possible or may arrange for a complete replacement. Please refuse delivery if the entire package is damaged.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. You may return new, unused, and resalable items for a refund. Simply ensure that the item is returned in its original product packaging within 30 days of delivery.
Inside the box, please include your contact information, the order number, and the reason for the return. On the outside of the box, write the RMA number and the appropriate return address; both of which will be provided to you upon contacting us via the aforementioned email address.
Please ensure that the package is fully sealed before shipping. We ask that the item be shipped either UPS or Insured Parcel Post. Using one of these methods will allow the package to be traced and the credit process much quicker. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged.
